Last night was the concert in reading for lindsey buckingham. I would sum the performance in one word:incredible. Well it was better than incredible, it was frankly fucking amazing

i mapquested the directions to the sovereign center. It did seem familiar to me because i have been there once before for evanescence as the vf outlets are out in that direction as well. Going there was fine, however the directions said off of 222 would be penn st on the left. I would like to ask the maker of mapquest where in the hell is this? it does not give this direction, either you stay on 222 or go on 422 which has the reading stops. And in PA i truly dont know of any left sided veer offs, only in NJ do they have that. (when i went to livingston, they have one which i always seem to almost miss, and need to put the brakes on so i dont veer into the barrier.) so i took the 422 and found the sovereign center quite easily then. I ended up with free parking the garage behind the building. Now..... When we entered the building, they had an awful amount of disney memorabilia.... Hmmmm. Weird. Well turns out disney on ice was there that night... Lindsey buckingham was down a few streets at the perfoming center. Argh so we haphazardly found the place by walking. And while also looking like clear tourists of the city. (and i would like to note that my mom pointed out who really owns the town... Sovereign bank. Everywhere you looked it was sovereign this and that.) so the actual building was gorgeous architectually. Reminscient of the state theater in easton, but a tad smaller. When we went to our seats, DAMN we were close unfortunately not ever seat was filled, but who cares. Every song was great and him live in unbelievable. I SO seeing him again next saturday. At the encore we went up to the stage and i got to him live and up close. A tad old on the face, eh. Oooo i forgot, i also bought an autographed cd of his as well.

on the way home.... I found the parking garage no problem. And i even found penn st no problem. The question was how in the bloody hell do i get back to 222? i got off of 422 and i didnt see if it was west or east. So i took an education assumption and chose the east, because i needed to go in that general direction back to the valley. Yeah that was i mistake. Clearly i should have taken the other one. I ended up going to pottstown. I havent been there in years, but i did slightly remember how to get home from there. I would always watch the person i would go home with.... Well ok i was half asleep and clearly i paid crappy attention. I found 100N no problem and knew that was the way back to allentown. Hmmmmm.... I recognized one area and that was it. I think he would go another way. I took 100n instead of 29 and again was sidetracked to macungie.... My mom was like "i think she went 29.... It said allentown..." HELLO you should have mentioned that. I was falling asleep at the wheel back when i was around pottstown. So i rolled the down the window and was blasting music to sing to. Around midnight and being very tired, i knew every song lyric on the radio, even songs i rarely listen to. Thank god for my triple a map to help me with the 422 problem... But i clearly need a gps navigator and requesting this for xmas. Eventually 100n took me to 222, but after all the misguided steps. All in all i think i tacked on an extra 20 mins to ride home. AND being half asleep at the wheel, i got into bed. After all that, i couldnt fall asleep. So needless to say, i am exhausted. I am taking a nap even though it is gorgeous outside (perfect weather for pumpkin picking and corn mazing).
