Does anyone know how iapos;d go about ordering a list of items in an Excel spreadsheet BY DATE?

and so on.

i know, this is probably the simplest operation ever, but i donapos;t remember how to do it. And iapos;m worried iapos;ll put all my shit in some funky ass order and then not be able to fix it.
